| - This model has two types of memory sockets referred to the 'user-accessible slot' and 'factory slot' respectively. The user-accessible slot is located on the base of the machine and can be upgraded by the owner easily, supporting up to 256MB (UA1032) or 512MB (UA1181).
- The other slot supports up to 512MB and is usually preinstalled with memory from the factory/when you bought it.
- When both memory slots have a 512MB modules installed, the maximum supported memory is achieved.
- The factory slot requires special tools (torx screwdriver) to remove/upgrade it.
